We went on a quick summer vacation to Crested Butte CO in mid August. Got caught in a blizzard on our way over Monarch Pass. I know weather can happen any time - and very quickly, in the mountains. But I have to admit that was the last thing on my mind.

Libertas:
Same thing happened to me in Yellowstone a handful of years ago...mid-August in the northern end at elevation...snow...it happens...

Progs just freak out and start spewing climate change chants...

 ::facepalm::

Pandora:
Yup.  Glowball warmink.

ToddF:
Where haven't I seen it the past week?  Um.  Iowa, Nebraska, and Wyoming (when I drove through...I see Wyoming now has snow cover in the higher elevations).

Montana
Alberta
British Columbia
Washington.  Several inches on the ground at the Mount Ranier visitor's center.
