I contend this is the function of both people being tired of the bullying, lies and unscientific methods of these rent-chasing whores on the one hand and the advent of alternate media making it easier to call these ass-clowns pushing this junk science on people!

Add in the possible notion that the more timid have been encouraged to speak out; the so-called "consensus" is a function of herd animals.

Yes, and natures predators are instructive in how to target a herd, and there have been some Big Cats doing that good work, Delingpole being one of them.   ::thumbsup::
