The coup conspirators are still conspiring, still plotting and scheming, still pushing the dangerous meme and apparently in their desperation are not giving one damn about the fallout...even if it means the most serious constitutional crisis in the nations history with a second civil war erupting in full horror.  They simply do not care, their lust for power is akin to the blind birthright our Founders faced when confronting British tyranny from across the Atlantic.  This is the measure of their resolve and ours cannot be any less, indeed it must be demonstrably more!

A fun summer indeed...and then the real battle may unfold.

The Mule reference is interesting.  Thoughts?

Too many people are anxious and trying to skip ahead to the end. I'm enjoying every page of this potboiler...

It's getting to the point where I want to see a physical body count. The brash, in-your-face, I-don't-care-about-a-Constitution attitude needs to be repaid with . . . death; brutal, street justice.

When the law becomes a ruse lawlessness becomes legitimate - unkown

What happens when people realize that the smug lawlessness of the elite is the norm?
If they are lawless maybe we become lawless. After all, it is just a game, right?

I'm not sure that it's lawless to reign in the lawless, no matter the brute force needed; the "game" is one with high stakes & must be played to win.

Shall we live forever?

They treat the law like it is some sort of joke because they exempt themselves from it. E.g Hillary, the FBI, CIAS, NSA, most of DC. What happens if that idea filters down?

Oh, absolutely - it already is & has. We have to be more on guard, because "us & them" aren't equal before the law; they get slapped on the wrist & we do hard time.

I'm reading a leadership book (Revolutionary Leadership); one of the chapters highlights Andrew Jackson & contains this quote:

Quote
The bank, Mr. Van Buren, is trying to kill me, but I will kill it.

It is to be regretted that the rich and powerful too often bend the acts of government to their selfish purposes. Distinctions in society will always exist under every just government. Equality of talents, of education, or of wealth can not be produced by human institutions. In the full enjoyment of the gifts of Heaven and the fruits of superior industry, economy, and virtue, every man is equally entitled to protection by law; but when the laws undertake to add to these natural and just advantages artificial distinctions, to grant titles, gratuities, and exclusive privileges, to make the rich richer and the potent more powerful, the humble members of society — the farmers, mechanics, and laborers — who have neither the time nor the means of securing like favors to themselves, have a right to complain of the injustice of their government.

There are no necessary evils in government. Its evils exist only in its abuses. If it would confine itself to equal protection, and, as Heaven does its rains, shower its favors alike on the high and the low, the rich and the poor, it would be an unqualified blessing.

Any man worth his salt will stick up for what he believes right.

~ Veto Message Regarding the Bank of the United States (10 July 1832).

Which reminds me of the (history repeating) battles we face today.

I think this whole idea that there is a 'plan' that we can trust is propaganda to appease the folks calling for heads to roll.

Even after Trump 'ordered', 'demanded' that the Intelligence agencies, DOJ, and FBI turn over all docs to the House and Senate Intelligence Committees, 'chirp' 'chirp' 'chirp'. Nothing doo doo, nada. It's been almost 2 weeks since trump made his demand.

Since middle 2016, information has been leaking out, drip by drip, enough so, that any prosecutor could make a simple case against the entire gang of 17 plus Obama's administration and Hillery's complete staff, plus the entire DNC. Nothing. Doo doo, nada.

I feel like my football team does nothing but 'huddle'. They never break out of the 'huddle' and go to the line of scrimmage and attack the opposing team, even though, while my team is 'huddling', the opposing team has already gone to the line of scrimmage and not only started attacking us, but as long as our team is in the 'huddle', they keep attacking. They realize that our team does nothing but 'huddle', and since the referees are calling the shots to defend the opposing team, the attacks never quit.

IOW, nothing but talk, talk, talk. Pudits talk. Talk show hosts talk. Journalists on our side talk. Congress members talk. Cabinet members talk. Trump talks. His entire staff talks.

They ain't talking to me anymore!

He sure presents a brave face doesn't he?    Poor fool thinks he's going to be protected to the end by the same people that won't remember his name when that can't use him any more. That is if Clinton inc. doesn't do his dumb ass in.

He will soon lose his career his pension his home wife and kids if he has any and his whore won't be seen with him and all those people that defended him won't even take a call from his lost broke ass.

Probably more likely become a lobbyist for foreign interests and get paid a sh*tload of money to keep betraying Americans!

That's what low-life pieces of scat usually do when they escape real justice.

Oh oh...another wet team comment coming!

So many Dems to choose from.
That Dem Socialist NY woman looked great on posters and photos but when she opens her mouth she sounds like a valley girl. Maybe they can train her before the election but I doubt it.
