Immigration has been in our history, but not always.  There were long blocks of time when we allowed no immigration.  The Hart-Cellar Act, 1965, (f**k you, Ted Kennedy) changed that ..... and the ethnicities of the immigrants.

Yup, I also recall an act banning Islamic immigrants...never repealed as far as I know...but Obongo's forced settlement of refugees went on unchallenged....
