Mounting debts at the arms manufacturer have snowballed, ironically, since the election of Donald Trump, who has called himself a "true friend" to the gun industry.

Remington, which as roots dating to 1816, has lined up $100 million with lenders to continue operations. It remains unclear what will happen to its 3,500 or so employees as it reorganizes.

They've had design issues, shyster lawsuits by butthurt libiots and blaming Trump is weak.
We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.

Please God don't let the Remington 870 Wingmaster fade into history. No better pump shotgun ever manufactured in my opinion.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

That's a work horse! My 1100 is no shrinking violet when it comes to working I have no idea how many thousands of rounds have gone through it.

I haven't looked in a while, do they still manufacture them?

I almost cried when they discontinued the 1100 and came out with the 1186(?).

I know I've seen them in catalogs within the past couple years.

My 1100 is 35 years old and looks new.
