It's AZ that frosts my balls. How the hell does the gov win by what, 300K and McSalley loses.

Factors would include -

1) AZ shifting from red to purple...being one of God's Waiting Rooms (along with Florida) this means - a) lots of imports from blue states and b) lots of impaired folks regardless of color of state of origin to be exploited...and locusts from CA.

2) An endless supply of illegals to exploit (there have been documented cases of illegals voting!).

3) AZ in June settled a suit over registration...this so-called compromise was in fact a complete capitulation in practice.  There were stricter citizenship requirements for those who register in counties which naturally fall under state law than those registering via federal forms who did not need to prove citizenship but were limited to voting only in federal elections (which makes no sense so obviously progressive sappers spawned that dreck too!) and the 'settlement' is a joke because now the state cannot challenge state-registered people's citizenship status but it can check DMV records and if not a citizen then the revert to the previous federal provision for voting.  So, naturally the easiest morons on the planet to dupe or bribe being the DMV I would wager an entire years salary that very few are "discovered" in this method and even if they are trying to prove which elections they did or did not vote in seems a logistical nightmare.

4) As shown in the cases of McCain, Flake et al...a "republican" in AZ does not equate into a conservative...little better than a (now extinct) conservative democrat in actuality...and subjectively McSally was not the most conservative choice for this Senate contest and I called that out early...there was more contrast between Ducey and Garcia than there was between McSally and Sinema IMO.  I mean losing to Sinema is as close as it gets to losing to a total nothing...you have to be doing something wrong not to differentiate yourself from nothing.  All that aside ticket-splitting has never become more popular until lately where more states are purple.

That's about all that comes to mind...if it helps.

I had thoughts of retiring there, like the area, like the variety of scenery and climate...but politically going the wrong direction and nit much better than where I already am so why bother?!

Oh hey...not that anybody here is any where near dumb enough to have bought for one pico-second the Mobocrat promise to be more civil after the election...but we should have put bets down on who would go back to the gutter first...

Can't you just feeeel the humility, the tolerance, the fairness and the compassion flowing from this paragon of progressive perfection?!

Scott should have removed her in '16.

Won't improve her chances in the next election any...

I'd find the most conservative person available who supports Trump and let the Mobocrats shat themselves in uncontrolled butthurt!

Precisely, on both counts.

Gave up the recount fight -- without fighting -- after people donated money for just that.

.

There no longer is an “American people”; there are peoples living in America. We’re balkanized not just racially, ethnically and religiously, but also ideologically, sexually and philosophically; we speak different languages, literally and figuratively. With open talk of open-borders socialism on one side and nationalism on the other, the Overton window is now so wide that each end occupies a different time zone. Frankly, many of us hate each other. If our union were a marriage, we’d have divorced long ago.

And I believe this will likely be the U.S.’s fate: dissolution. It may be precipitated by a calamity such as a severe economic collapse. If the federal government is then unable to meet its obligations (e.g., Social Security payments), the union-binding carrot will be gone. If the feds also seek to impose a tyrannical will, certain states may nullify their dictates, creating a further rift. One thing could then lead to another and….

Regardless, with the Left hurling fightin’ words (Nazi, etc.), fomenting unrest and attacking and bullying conservatives, the Cold Civil War is already afoot. Will it go hot? If so, when? For sure is that if the Left keeps pushing, it eventually will get pushback.

Of course, should this happen, we’d likely be vulnerable to enemies such as China. It all makes for a very unsure, but not uninteresting, future.

Yet if the republic does fall and dissolve, maybe, just perhaps, one of the resulting countries can be that shining city on a hill. But remember: It will be up to us to forge it, ever bearing in mind that we can’t MAGA unless we MAMA. This means instilling in ourselves virtue — including that of courage. For whatever terrors, traumas and tribulations lie ahead, we’ll need a lot of it for things to come.

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/11/americant_from_midterms_to_end_times.html

And, not be understated from my point of view...is to remember that the GOP of 2018 was largely the GOP of 2016 that so virulently opposed Donald Trump from Day #1 when he first declared his run...and who's House leadership chose surrendering without a fight just to spite Trump as preferable to fending off the Plague of Mobocrats.

So, when it happens...

...don't forget to also chase down your local gutless establishment pukes and thank them properly!

 ;)

Yup.

Seems like it should have been wider than that.  No doubt the devils will up their game in '20 now that they know what is needed...the depths they'll dive to will have no limit.
