The bar is pretty low for the left. Men aren’t presumed innocent until proven otherwise, they are presumed guilty unless and until they can prove their innocence when accused by a woman.
Why is this important? Because this low standard is in the process of boomeranging against Joe Biden… in the person of Tara Reade.
Biden’s own Campaign advisor joined right in on the Kavanaugh pile-on in the name of #MeToo and #BelieveAllWomen.
Now that there is a Democrat politician in the crosshairs — a guy she’s working for, no less — she’s about as committed to ‘believing all women’ as Hillary Clinton was during the BimboEruptions.
Realizing that her past position on this issue would be a black eye for Sleepy Joe Biden in the light of new Tara Reade accusations, she set about scrubbing all her anti-Kavanaugh and MeToo ‘Believe All Women’ posts.
Biden openly dreamed about beating up Trump over what was said on that infamous ‘Billy Bush’ audio… but the (as yet, untested) allegation of Tara Reade is that he actually PENETRATED her body with his hand.
If we’re going by the Left’s own standards of evidence, he’s toast. But the Left HAS no standard. They rely on ever-moving goalposts… an endless series of political heads-I-win-tails-you-lose scenarios.
