Turkey blew it by letting the megalomaniac Erdogan remain in power and continue to be a PITA to the US, an unreliable ally in an obsolete NATO compact and by talking and acting like any other Middle Eastern Islamic dictator.
Eff 'em! They were never European, no matter how much lipstick you put on that pig, no matter how many candy sprinkles you pile on that turd...it still a pig, still a turd. The "Sick Man of Europe" is Europe's problem.
The earth can open up and swallow that crap whole for all I care. They (Turkey and Europe) made their choices, they can choke together.
