Shortly after being moved to a new prison he's wacked. "Black  Mass" is an excellent book about the life of Whitey Bulger and the then and now crooked FBI

He was sentenced to 2 life terms...plus 5 years...

So I guess they put him back in his cell and leave him there for 5 years before he can be buried...
