And since this question was asked at the end of the presser as Weiner was leaving, we still don't know the answer:

In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.

I've known men like this.  They have no conscience. Getting caught only slows them down, never stops them.

It's really not much different than any other addiction except that in this particular case the addict happens to be a member of congress. And that means that on top of the addiction there is more than likely a pretty serious case of egomania and narcissism. These elements do not make for a very good leader and most people know this instinctively. Problem is that the hardcore left will ignore this and support him to their own detriment. Religion is almost always unshakeable.

Ah well, tomorrow is another day and there will be more Weiner news. It will not end until he leaves office. As others have said, "Where there is smoke..." and I don't think we have seen the fire yet. If he admits to 6 "inappropriate" relationships then there are most likely more. Why should he start telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth today? I believe there are more women and he believes that by giving up these 6 he will be able to conceal the others. I believe that he has a much deeper babe portfolio than he led us to believe during today's presser.

This is far from over.

Side note: Breitbart really deserves more than a pat on the back for these last few days. Stop by a book store and get his new book.

Immediately following his tearful confession Anthony Weiner went to the Congressional Men's Room to relieve himself . Standing before a unrinal he noticed a bit of eye-level grafitti which read .... "Don't look here and laugh ... The joke's in your hand !"

It was a real thrill watching this arrogant bastard get beaten to his knees and cry like a little girl !  ::devil::

I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Weiner is shown the door by the Democrat leadership before the ethics investigation can even get started.

Since Pelosi has personally called for it they are committed to it. But I just don't see the percentage in it for the Democrats. Why submit to a nationally televised (because you know it will be) ethics committee investigation with day after day, hour after hour release of salacious details?

Once the rest of this crap hits the fan they will force him out rather than go through this public humiliation. At least that would be the smart thing to do.

No one can convince me that Pelosi didn't call Weiner as soon as this broke ten days ago and demand to know whether or not it was true . I'm also sure that Weiner lied to her just like he lied to everyone else . Not a good idea ! I can't think of anything that would piss "Aunt Nancy" off more than to be lied to by one of her "chicks" . The Dems don't want a drawn out ethics investigation going into the summer . I think Pelosi , Hoyer and a few others in the Dem leadership are going to have a very private and unequivical meeting with Weiner , the operative question being ; " So ,,, Anthony ,,, How long have you been in The House of Representatives , not including tomorrow ?"  ;D

Another point worth mentioning, again, is that Breitbart has yet another unreleased, sexually explicit picture that he believes is that of Anthony Weiner. Breitbart mentioned several times at the presser (that he took over. Sweet) that he had a photo and would not release it "to protect Weiner's family" from further embarrassment. From Politico:

Quote
ā€œIā€™m trying to do the decent thing here and not release the photo,ā€ he said, hinting that such restraint might be tested if Weiner continued to suggest he had been hacked, allowing his supporters to continue to cast blame on Breitbart.

Think about the delicious irony for just a moment. Andrew Breitbart, the scourge to the Left, taking the high road in order to spare Weiner's family additional humiliation.

From Joan Walsh's Salon article:
Quote
But given Breitbart's role in propagating the Shirley Sherrod is a racist story (when the speech in question showed her to be profoundly anti-racist) as well as James O'Keefe's ACORN "sting," (which featured "highly selective editing," according to attorneys general in California and Brooklyn, N.Y.)

Joan, you ignorant slut . . .

The Left will never give up on their interpretation of the Shirley Sherrod speech. It was never about what Shirley said. Breitbart used the clip to illustrate the reaction of the NAACP audience that clearly showed their support when Sherrod said she wanted to deny the white farmer any assistance. And the Attorneys General in California and New York? Right. Democrat political hacks. In fact, one of them is the current Dem governor of the State of Ignorance: California.
The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living
are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

Well, not to be left out of the fun, TMZ* waded into the muck (oh, wait...that's where they live). They have been working with the porn star in the last day or two and have evidence (presumably emails, texts, etc.) that Weiner urged her to lie in order to cover up the extent of their online relationship.

LINK

The "wise" people in the media like to say that it's the coverup that gets you into trouble so let's see how that plays out...

Quote
On June 2, Weiner emailed Lee, "Do you need to talk to a professional PR type person to give u advice?  I can have someone on my team call. [Yeah, my team is doing great. Ugh]."

or this...

Quote
Weiner put on a full court press, urging Lee to lie about their relationship.  On June 1, he emailed her:  "The key is to have a short, thought out statement that tackles the top line questions and then refer people back to it.  Have a couple of iterations of: 'This is silly.  Like so many others, I follow Rep. Weiner on Twitter.  I don't know him and have never met him. He briefly followed me and sent me a dm saying thank you for the follow.  That's it.'"

Weiner suggested a nice touch -- some good ol' Southern charm: "And then maybe insert some y'alls in there."

Class act, this Weiner.

Clearly this is someone who cannot be trusted with congressional duties that may involve national security issues. ANYONE can see that based on stuff like this. If there is much more like this out (and you have to believe there are women out there who we don't know about yet) then Weiner will not make it to the end of the week.

*curiously the comments on TMZ are running 50-1 against Weiner and Democrats.

Yesterday in an interview (it was Hannity or Hewitt, I can't remember which) Breitbart said that the photo of which he's withholding publication is something that would shock everyone, and that it is something that would be suited for publication in BlueBoy Magazine.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

If Huma is disgusted and wants to rid herself of this Smeagol of a man, Hillary will make it happen.

The corner of my mouth turns up slightly when I think of the groveling and weeping he's likely going through at this very moment.

A leftist's idea of women's empowerment.....marrying a man you think will be powerful someday, and having the ability to destroy the man who cheats on you.
I think I prefer Palin's definition of women's empowerment......rising to prominence on your own talents.

Jon Stewart.  I'm lovin' watching him squirm.

Last week his reaction to the underwear shot:  I'm a friend of Weiner's, and that ain't his schlong.?

Now Jon Stewart is officially sad.

I was unaware that Weiner and his wife - Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin - had been married less than one year.

Unless she's blindly in love, she really has no incentive to stick around for this sh*t.
