. . .
You are implying or assuming that Weiner is a thinker.

He has the intellect of a Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living
are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

So that's where it is. Do you suppose she can get it back before she does another interview?

Or his wife has a lot to do with it. Why would she trust him in DC while she's in N.Y. the last thing she wants at this point is to read that he's become client #10

News from Breitbart:

Quote
BigGovernment has learned from a confidential source on Capitol Hill that, starting tomorrow, Rep. Weiner’s DC staff will depart for other Congressional offices. According to our source, staff from Democrat leadership assembled Rep. Weiner’s staff and offered to assist them finding positions in other offices. Finding positions for everyone in Weiner’s DC office could take a week or two.

This is shaping up to be another Weiner Week but if the Democrat leadership plays their cards correctly it will be dropping the curtain on this sordid little affair within a day or two.

But maybe not. I am hoping that Weiner does the full Costanza and refuses to leave no matter what.

Maybe he'll leave if someone promises him a job too?

It just struck me to remember back to the beginning of this. His denials in the face of the truth seems almost psychopathic. "I was hacked! Yeah, that's it!"

Did he REALLY think people were gonna buy that? Did he REALLY think he was gonna be able to keep a lid on his prolific fetish for sending naked pictures of himself to females? He's not retarded, which means he's insane.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Well that's just it...there was no thinking involved. This is why I don't see him employed anywhere outside of food service in the future.

I've concluded that ARROGANCE explains a lot of this behavior.

These guys never think it'll happen to them--they're too smart to get caught and they're so used to voters believing their lies they can't see trouble coming

No he's not insane,he's used to dealing with his voters. He can't even believe the stupidity of his people. He's a little wiener with high hopes of becoming a big dick. It's a like a a Napoleon complex only for peckers.

Arrogance? Sure. But there are lots of arrogant people all over the place. Narcissism explains a lot.

From his wiki page:

Quote
Weiner was born in Brooklyn, New York, one of three sons of Mort Weiner, a lawyer, and Fran Weiner, a mathematics teacher at Midwood High School.[8][9] The family lived for a time in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn. Weiner was raised Jewish: he told Moment Magazine in 2011, "We weren't a very religious household, but we had a very strong sense of our Judaism."[10] Weiner's 39-year-old brother Seth was killed in a pedestrian–car accident in May 2000.[11]

Weiner took the Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT), and entered Brooklyn Technical High School. He says he had missed admission to Stuyvesant High School by one point.[12] After graduating from Brooklyn Tech in 1981, he attended the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, where he played hockey. He sought to become a television weatherman, but his interests turned towards politics, and he became active in student government.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 1985, Weiner worked on the staff of then-Congressman and current Senator Chuck Schumer (1985–91). First working in Schumer's office in Washington, D.C., he was sent to the District Office in Brooklyn in 1988 when Schumer encouraged him to become involved in local politics.

He got a degree which places him above most of the Hollywood actor types but a BA in poly sci isn't going to take you very far without a law degree to go with it... he's going to be toast outside of congress.
