How anybody can make anything in charcoal look amazing is amazing in itself...Leonardo's elements are all there as are the left-handed strokes...the few right-handed could be touch up by an apprentice or an apprentice started it in that corner and Leonardo said move the eff over and let me show you how it is done.

Because it was a charcoal sketch, and if you read, the curators and investigators are "calling
it Monna Vanna", not Leonardo.   Monna Vanna (Vain Lady) belongs to Rossetti's painting, and
is cataloged so.  The charcoal sketch is not named, only nick named.
