  They just got reminded that they're a big deal in their own minds and not in the real world.  That's why they stay in their Ivory Towers where they can convince themselves of whatever they see as real.

It will likely still be many years,  if ever,  if they get a payout.    Wouldn't be surprised if the college even has that kind of money.    Sure the college will drag its heels as long as possible before cutting a check. 

Two of the older owners of the bakery have passed since the beginning of this nonsense,  so they never saw any justice.
