Sarah Palin is the quintessential outsider:
-- An outsider to the lower 48, as an Alaskan.
To the contrary , mon ami . Her strength and base is in the "lower 48" .
From the perspective of the GOP establishment though, FP is right on. They consider her an outsider for all the reasons he outlined.
I was speaking from the standpoint of the general electorate .
...because the general electorate makes such wise and noble decisions when it comes to electing leaders.
