Ah, come on. I'm all for heaping justified blame on the hippies-dippty nuts but we don't need to color every last thing as their fault to make our case.  I've read many stories over the years about e.coli outbreaks involving vegetables and most of it didn't involve organically grown produce.

True, but ohh what an easy target!  The "organic" movement is most identified with that crowd, right, wrong or indifferent.  If a big ag company, it would be splayed all over page one and be the top lead in newscasts - "Big Corp Ag kills several, they have 'no comment' over this horrific human suffering"!
