Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey issued the following statement regarding Trump's visit.

“Under ordinary circumstances, it would be an honor to welcome a sitting President of the United States to Minneapolis and to showcase all our city has to offer on the national stage. But these aren’t ordinary circumstances. Since taking office President Trump’s actions have been reprehensible and his rhetoric has made it clear that he does not value the perspectives or rights of Minneapolis’ diverse communities.

“On October 10, our entire city will stand not behind the President, but behind the communities and people who continue to make our city – and this country – great. While there is no legal mechanism to prevent the president from visiting, his message of hatred will never be welcome in Minneapolis.”

My sister wants to go, I'm still in my insanely busy period at work...which is probably good news for me and any sub-human Marxist terrorists hanging around down there. I had a meeting with a lawyer down by 1st Ave Friday evening...I loath that town, the useless a-hole factor is ridiculously high...what Mayor Walder Frey calls family...had one fool who looked like it was in no way native born honk at me because it was uninterested in the traffic rules, where I promptly and loudly threatened to cause immediate harm to his pointless carcass...it'll be garbage like that hanging around outside harassing people...and good people have to be ready for it.

The City’s demand is particularly ridiculous in view of the fact that the security cost for President Obama’s 2009 appearance at the Target Center was reported to be $20,000, 1/26th of what Frey is trying to charge President Trump.

I've come to the conclusion that I don't trust myself to attend events like this. Even if I could gain entry with my piece there are no guarantees that I wouldn't use it.
