It's a win-win for proglodytes and a lose-lose for everybody else!

They get to avoid rewarding achievement, long a proglodyte dream...something to do with perverted egalitarianism and avoiding hurt feelings by morons and drivel like that...and they don't have to quake in fear that (gasp!) a valedictorian will invoke God or (shriek!) utter a prayer!

They should do away with the ceremony and avoid all embarrassment.  Hey! They should eliminate the diploma, that would be the truly egalitarian thing.

Radical egalitarianism reduced to lowest level mediocrity -- the dumb marches on.

I really could strangulate these  -- I can't even think of a word bad enough.

How much you wanna bet that somewhere at the kernel of this effort is a bunch of wailing about certain protected demographics not being represented often enough in valedictorian selections?

Do away with the ceremony and the diploma? I would add do away with education entirely, but then I quickly remembered that they already did away with that...years ago.
