So MN dairy farm wanted to add cows so they applied and got all permits approved. Then someone sued because the permits did not address methane and global warming.

Today the Minnesota Court of Appeals issued an opinion in In the Matter of the Decision on the Need for an Environmental Impact Statement for the Proposed Daley Farms of Lewiston, LLP – 2018 Dairy Expansion Utica Township. Daley Farms wants to expand its dairy operation, which naturally entails having more cows. Daley Farms dutifully went through the permitting process with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and the MPCA granted the necessary permits. That wasn’t good enough for far-left organizations like the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy, which appealed the MPCA’s grant of permits to the Minnesota Court of Appeals. MCEA argued, among other things, that the agency hadn’t taken into account the methane emissions that more cows would generate.

Perhaps the farmer didn't explain that he plans to purchase "Reverse Flatulence Emissions Engineered Bovines" (Methyanus Flatulentae Bovidae OR the more common vernacular, Pecus).

We've all recognized the harmful effects of Climate Change - and the market has responded with hybrid bovine breeds that actually pull methane IN rather than expelling it into the atmosphere. It could be that Gummint paperwork does not yet reflect this choice as an agricultural option (they're STILL working on the appropriate pronouns).

Well, this kind of stupidity will make it more and more likely that in the very near future rogue judges will be dangling along side their sundry domestic terrorist brothers and sisters.
