Trace of snow on the ground...34 coming in...cooled to 32 and light coating of white stuff to usher in November.

Out east though our state of art what could possible go wrong grid at issues in 50mph winds...Halloween tornado warnings...sundry man-made climate imaginings...



Looks mostly like hyper-enlightened demosocialist led fiefs so I guess my level of concern is pretty minimal...

It's been dipping into the 20's at night around these parts. Rebounding to upper 50's during the day. No matter, I bought a new chainsaw and a splitter before I retired and have taken advantage of several opportunities to reclaim downed trees. I have cordwood stacked all over the property and a roaring firebox!

Oh, I'm jealous...I'd like something at least 20" and a decent splitter!  (Have a dinky Echo at the lake and have to rent splitters!).   

A nice chippper might be handy too...
