Mayor Frey's Freeloader Flophouse Flambeau.

Surprising?

No...the word is "inevitable".

I feel bad for the  tenants. I wonder how the fire got outof control.
These people are likely high risk for fire.
Years ago there was a brat/German restaurant in Minneapolis that had cheap housing above it. A fire started upstairs.
I cannot remember the name. I think only the walls were standing at the end.

This building was once a historic luxury hotel. The Left ruins everything.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Been a few, Cliff & Norm's, McMahon's...handful of years ago the grifters running the city clamped down on such dwellings (increased "inspections" aka increased "fees" for the grifters) and gosh golly what zero difference it made!  Almost as if by design...
