I live in New Brighton MN. An inner ring suburb. I drove out to the liquor store near Silver Lake and 694. Closed early. Also the nearby McDonalds. I drove north along Silver Lake to the liquor store near cub. Not only closed early but boarded up. Also the nearby Cub closed early.

The first Minnesota apartment I had was on the east side of St. Paul.  My Cub was the Sunray Cub, now looted.  When I lived there it was still solidly working class.  My apartment complex was all younger people, like me.  I liked it well enough that I stayed there 5 years while saving for a "real" home... and paying off debt from college.  Drove through there about 2010ish and noticed the neighborhood became much more "diverse" since I left for the suburbs.  Did I mention the looting at Sunray center?

It seems the 'vibrants' are looting stores near where they live or are roving. Roseville and Rosedale are nice areas but they are in danger of being looted. Sunray is so far from Mpls. I see they have looted a liquor stoire 3 blocks from the govs mansion in St. Paul.

I do not  know MN law. It seems MN law does not allow shop owners to shoot looters. Correct?
