Carl Reiner, 98

Poor misguided fool was a Trump detractor...

But this team he worked with was perhaps the best ever -

In early 1950, Reiner became part of the storied team working in front of and behind the camera on Caesar’s NBC variety show “Your Show of Shows,” a 90-minute comedy-variety show that aired live on Saturday nights. The writers room was packed with future showbiz legends including Brooks, Neil Simon, Larry Gelbart, Mel Tolkin and Lucille Kallen.

...but Cesar, Reiner and Brooks alone would still make it the best.  There's clips out there of these guys talking about the old days with each other...pretty fascinating...had to be a blast working with them all.

...anyway...his genetics took a steeper dive with the idiot son...

We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.

Like most of the rest of you I grew up on the classic comedy of Red Skelton, Jackie Gleason, Sid Caesar,  and Carl Reiner. In those days I wasn't political - I barely noticed politics as a thing at all.

Later as the left imposed itself upon me my reaction was to eschew those who pushed their agenda. It was mostly morons like his son Rob, but Carl was guilty of failing to "Shut up and act" as well.

What a GD shame! We could have had such a pleasant time - if only the left hadn't turned into such rancid assholes!

Well, some assholes are born with natural...uhh, can't be talent...let's go with malevolence...while others train to be world-class assholes...

And rancid...toxic-rancid...describes all socialist ideologies...

Put 'em together and you have an earth-plaguing demon...
