There are scientific papers that say that about 10 times more acres burned every year before white people came to CA.
The above video goes into previous CO fires before CO2 got high
 
I could not find a gov graph but here is us gov page reporting on wilderness fires since 1926 for the US. The fires today are nothing compared to the 1930s and a joke compared to before 1800. But but but global warming.
