Oh sure...leave it to a couple dudes bass fishing to have the idea of a hydroelectric dam and next thing you know damn dams everywhere and a river becomes a flowage (lake). But, usually they become super-productive fish habitat...the explosion of human activity follows. Probably like Lake Minnetonka here...water traffic so thick you can probably cross the lake without getting your feet wet. Shame, used to fish that lake as a kid, but towards the later 70's got so bad we hung it up. Chippewa Flowage in WI is still pretty nice, lots of resorts...boat traffic not too horrendous...gobs a fish though and monster crappies. PSU kids have to be a hard-partying nuisance...should charge them through the wazoo!
