Decentralized Finance (DeFi) 101

Everything is going digital for good or ill...the whole integrity of this blockchains stuff still eludes me, but that aside there are risk aplenty in the traditional digitized world as well as the new blockchain DeFi world.

The structure layouts help and missing pieces section and future section are good to focus on.

I know my one nephew has a "wallet" (coinbase, I believe) and he had a learning experience with bitcoin purchase where because of rapidly (like nanosecond/picosecond fast) fluctuating valuations he kept having to kick more in to do the transaction he wanted.  Even someone young and into the new stuff and as online as he is...I think he sees the risks clearly in a limited sense.  DeFi has more growing pains to go through before trust and stability can be had IMO.

I'm a crude ancient being by comparison...if not in my hand...it is not mine.

I read that Equador was going to legalize bitcoin but the IMF and World Bank made a stink. So now they are going to put $30 in a wallet for every citizen. Remember what happened after Ghaddafi said he would form a gold backed currency.  I recall that all the Libyan gold disappeared after the west over threw and killed Ghaddafi.  The USD is currently the legal currency of the country.

A sovereign nation can and should legalize legitimate enterprises...but the globalists like to make threats and beat down competition...and the Salvadorians caved.
