The Stages of Grief
« on: June 15, 2011, 02:53:54 PM »
As we are watching  our prosperity, freedoms, rights, and country slowly slip away from us, its only natural to grieve.  Grief, as we all know, has several stages:

1. Denial and Isolation.
2. Anger.
3. Bargaining.
4. Depression.
5. Acceptance.

But where is "revenge"?  When does that happen? Its not really Anger, as anger is generally a short term emotion, and a quest for vengeance can take years.  And its not really bargaining because the only bargaining going on is coming from someone else, and why would anyone be depressed after getting revenge? Its like the psychologists left something out of this model.

Revenge comes after anger for those not sitting on their hands, hoping.

Is it revenge or restoration and restitution with a vengeance, iow, a reckoning?  I'd see it that way and there will be one.

A reckoning will be occurring.

I think I have just three...

1.  Anger

2.  Rage

3.  Payback
