I do not like her for some reasons. One big one is her comments on how desirable it is to bankrupt coal, oil, and gas companies.
HOWEVER ....
I wonder if her commie education is better than the economics education of people like Paul Krugman.
Paul Krugman said that he thought that fighting a war with space aliens (or preparing for that?) would help the economy.
IMO the economics educations of many Chinese commies is more realistic than many current US economists. Years I ago I saw that 1 member of the CCP standing committee was an economist and the rest engineers.
One economist I really respect is Michael Hudson, who was raised in part in Mpls. His father lead the Mpls general strike and was sent to fed prison for sedition. Dr. Husdon is the godson of Leon Trotsky! He was born 2 years before the death of Trotsky. I checked. You might call Hudson a Marxist. I am not sure. I came upon Hudson via Vox Day. I read several books by Dr. Hudson.
I have watched the video below from Hudson several times. I find it very enjoyable. What a life!
He does not like flaky left wing economists and left some institutions where they lived.
Some places where he gives talks have posters of Marx/whoever on the wall but I do not let that bother me.

When I was 3 years old my father was put in jail under the Smith Act as a political prisoner for having the works of Lenin and Marx on his shelves and for being one of the leaders of the Minneapolis general strikes from 1934 to 1936. So I grew up knowing many members of the Russian Revolution, members of the Central Committee when Lenin was in power.
