It's a rare event when I agree with a democrat on anything...and in this case I do.  China is the preeminent threat.  But the deployment to the gulf of the Reagan was an opportunity to ask "why?" and that was a missed opportunity.  The decision to have 4 carriers in DPIA or RCOH in one year and a 5th coming out of DPIA in the same year hampered options.  Also, the lack of pace in replacing aging support vessels from tenders to cruisers is an issue too.  We're overstretched and unfocused.  Her criticism of this administration's leadership and the Pentagon is not off target.

But they won't, they are politically driven to exacerbate the deteriorating situation.  This is unsane.
