Bitcoin and others of that model got a lot of free advertising out of this...but the reason these other schemes come up is because of the stratospheric values they have...effectively pushing many average Jack & Jill's to the fringes...

Almost as if by design...the haves and have nots...eh?  Just wait till government hijacks it all...
