Sticking with Harris is akin to conceding defeat and makes sense to stick with her only to a) appease certain "communities" in their rabble and b) more importantly to focus more on the down-ticket races to mitigate loss of the White House. The lack of experience is IMO an insurmountable obstacle for Heels-Up...only able to be slightly mitigated if Joe resigns or is 25th'd out...for how many days between then and election day for her to keep her nose (and knees) clean and do no boat-rocking so as to fool people into thinking she's an acceptable risk.

Going away from Heels-Up for somebody else, even if they are not able to win (Big Mike has same problem as Heels-Up and even less experience than the nothing there for Heels-Up) if they provide more juice for party contributions to devote to down-ticket races.
