I am not going to deviate from my historical unease about relying on SCOTUS to save/restore the Republic...

Levin's advice seems logical and reasonable...he is not incorrect in why it should be done...and we can argue if a quick decision by SCOTUS is advisable or not (I say not, only because if they reject the argument Trump makes it may not mean the Smith BS will prevail in the end nor may it prevail if SCOTUS accepts the Trump argument because it will only mean they/them have more time before 2024 to drum up something else)...I just need more evidence a quick ruling by SCOTUS given the possible outcomes at this time is advisable or not vs refusing the rush to judgement they/them seek and drawing this out into 2024 (even if it means impeding upon the primaries [which it could be argued may keep fire in people's bellies] since I doubt DJT's lead will diminish) to give they/them less time to muck things in the election cycle (corrupt electoral process though it remains)....
