According to the video, Chinese govt is more interested in saving face and hiding the damage than anything else. I recall hearing the same thing at a young age about floods in China. Before the Chinese built all these dams I recall HUGE death tolls along the Yellow River.

The ADVChina guys in the video are very biased against the CCP but they always seemed honest. They lived in China for at least 10 years and rode motorcycles all over China and took videos. They have been recycling old videos now that they live in the US.

They recently recycled the old gutter oil videos. In a restaurant district, restaurants dump used cooking oil into the sewer. Oil floats. Other restaurants use ladles to scoop out the used oil from the sewers and use it.
