Afghanistan
« on: June 23, 2011, 08:24:07 AM »
Thanks to Obamakov's dreadful mismanagement of the war and his ridiculous ROE's and hampering (and in some instances criminalization of) intelligence efforts the mission in Afghanistan that was meant to eradicate Taliban & AQ forces from the face of the earth has instead seen an increase in American deaths 5 times greater than before Obamakov took office and now we are effectively giving the Islamist scum the nation back!  What a complete fustercluck!

Instead of eradicating these effers using any and all means at our disposal and leaving in honor Obama instead choose to undercut the mission, sabotage the goals and get more Americans slaughtered as he retreats in shame and dismal failure.  So not only did he kill more of our brave troopers and intelligence assets, he gives the enemy a victory and expects us to reward him for it all!

I cannot express how pissed I am!

Also he is actively prosecuting associated US assets (interrogators) while working to working to defend (Gitmo detainees) those directly trying to kill us.

If I have the Taliban side of that bet I'll take it.

As a kicker I'll even predict Obama will blame Bush for it.

What bothers me most is that it's yet another case of the American military being put into a position where it is not allowed to leverage its true power, leading to an inconclusive withdrawal, and the message that sends to friend and foe alike. We send our enemies and rivals the worst possible message - that we're not committed to slugging it out and are a decadent, self-indulgent power that doesn't have a central ethos or set of shared beliefs we're willing to defend - and the bad thing is that's basically true.

We don't fight to win anymore. We substitute real objectives with these nebulous ideas about "liberating" people who have no desire to be liberated, or projecting some supposed will of "the international community". Whatever happened to just putting such a hurtin' on people they'll never even think about antagonizing you again?

Aye, there's the rub, eh?!

 ::gaah::

Enemies and potential enemies are not deterred by meek or half-assed measures, they will not respect you and they will take advantage of you, especially the batsh*t-crazy true-believer jihadi types who know beyond a shadow of a doubt they can wait out a nation thus led!  But the MFM, proglodytes, Ruling Class idiots and zombies are incapable of understanding that.  All they see is "Obama got us out of Bush's war and reduced gas prices overnight!  He is amazing"!

Or better, that we will beat the crap out of any foe of ours or our friends with all due technical diligence. Then we will take your property and administrate it until you learn proper conduct in this world. And yes there will be administrative fees at cost plus.
