The first 35 min is good. Former UK Ambassador gives some history on recent Israeli politics. In short, there is a split between what he called oriental Jews and European Jews. The EU Jews are dominant and kinda secular. The oriental group has grown in strength and wants to move more to Judaism rebuild the temple on the temple mount, which is regarded as a holy site by Muslims. He says he foresaw the recent troubles long ago especially in light of some recent actions on the temple mount.

Very interesting and concise.

The Duran

Three primary ethnic divisions - Ashkenazim (European, word for German in Hebrew),  Sephardim (Iberian-Spain, Portugal and N.Africa), &  Mizrahim (Oriental/Easterners - encompassing Jews who stayed behind after the fall of ancient Israel and settled in/carried off to areas comprising modern day Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Kurdistan, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Yemen, Algeria, Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia)...in Israel the shift in dominance has shifted from European to Oriental and the former are more liberal, secular like you say and their most populous city is Tel Aviv...and IMO the shift away from the European is good because their leftism is ultimately problematic for Israeli existentance.

...that MUST end.

And in something you will not see in any other nation...

And in his first statement since the war's outbreak, IDF Chief of Staff Herzl Halevi, issued a rare statement of regret for failing to foresee and stop the Hamas massacres of Israelis on Saturday: "the IDF is responsible for the security of the state and its citizens, and on Saturday morning, in the Gaza border communities, we did not fulfill that responsibility. We will learn, investigate, but now it is a time for war."
.
.
.
Speaking to four Israeli security officials, NYT also outlined that the wave of lapses included:

Failure by intelligence officers to monitor key communication channels used by Palestinian attackers;

Overreliance on border surveillance equipment that was easily shut down by attackers, allowing them to raid military bases and slay soldiers in their beds;

Clustering of commanders in a single border base that was overrun in the opening phase of the incursion, preventing communication with the rest of the armed forces;

And a willingness to accept at face value assertions by Gazan military leaders, made on private channels that the Palestinians knew were being monitored by Israel, that they were not preparing for battle.
.
.
.
Meanwhile, other top Israeli minister's are issuing public apologies:

Israel’s education minister, whose portfolio has nothing to do with keeping the country safe, became the first government official to apologize for the intelligence failures that allowed Hamas militants to slaughter an estimated 1,300 people over the weekend in a savage surprise attack that has plunged the region into war.

"No one will escape responsibility. We are responsible—I am responsible as a member of the government," Yoav Kisch told Ynet Live on Thursday.

"We were busy with nonsense," said Kisch, a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party, in a reference to divisive political battles that had split Israeli society for the past year.

Eisenhower (has been working up in recent months) may be deployed East I am hearing.

Israel giving warning to evacuate non-combatants in 24 hours...South (Egypt entry point)...and Hamas is preventing evacuations, confirmed by their own calls to ignore "Israeli propaganda"...so any collateral damage is now clearly on the heads of Hamas...but they knew this when they started this crap...and the Pali's knew exactly how Hamas operates and gave them safe haven so they bear responsibility as well.

So I am guessing by about midnight our time kinetic action goes hot.

And, infuriatingly...the corrupt FJB regime controlled by The Kenyan is purposely ignoring Iranian complicity in the loss of life and treatment of missing/captured Americans at the hands of their terrorist vassals.

And about that BS "warning"...

Hearing now might be some hostage rescue ops going on now...

You see that idiot Lloyd "Idi Amin" Austin?  Says he "knows ISIS, Hamas is worse than ISIS"...

Well, idiot ought to know...The Kenyan created ISIS during his Arab Spring BS that led to the Libyan nightmare and The Kenyan & Hitlery abandoning Americans to be slaughtered in Benghazi!  And this idiot survived the military purges that began then, remember that?  Admiral got sacked, CentCom sacked...

Yeah hemorrhoid Lloyd I bet knows ISIS intimately...

The Sword Of Damocles: An Economic Worst-Case Scenario For The Israeli-Palestine War
Tyler Durden's Photo
BY TYLER DURDEN
SATURDAY, OCT 14, 2023 - 02:10 PM
Authored by Tuomas Malinen via Substack,

On Tuesday, I published a post on X (Twitter), which summarized an economic worst-case scenario for the Israeli-Palestine war. It included 10 points:

The conflict escalates into a regional war with the U.S. becoming directly involved.

OPEC responds with an oil embargo.

Iran closes the strait of Hormuz.

The price of oil reaches $300/barrel.

Europe succumbs into a full-blown energy crisis due to LNG shortage.

Massive spike in energy prices reinvigorates inflation with central banks responding accordingly.

Financial markets and the global banking sector collapse.

Debt crisis engulfs the U.S. forcing the Federal Reserve to enact yet another financial market bailout.

Petrodollar trade collapses.

Hyperinflation emerges.

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/sword-damocles-economic-worst-case-scenario-israeli-palestine-war

A lot of variables, most of which cannot happen unless the Mahdi Death Cult decides to directly intervene, because I do not see even The Puppet FJB putting troops on the ground, could be special operators engaged with finding hostages but IMO given Iranian string pulling/financing of Hamas & Hezbollah that should count as boots on the ground...I do not see American military conducting military ops in Gaza.  So much of this is unlikely without first seeing direct Iranian involvement in the conflict or messing around in the gulf with commercial traffic.

There are unconfirmed reports the Saudis told Israel to wipe out Hamas and Blinken spoke with them yesterday on his way to Israel for more meetings...Egypt will allow aid to enter the South...Hexbollah activity heating up in the North...Israel says it killed the Hamas military leader...and now that asshat Wray is changing tune on Islamist threats back here...and the Eisenhower has been deployed to the Med...

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/israel-hamas-war-latest-israeli-troops-amass-border-iran-warns-against-ground

And mirroring the decrepit state seen in schools across the land...the younger crowd sees more terrorist supporting idiots than other age groups...even then they are a minority...

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/majority-americans-support-israel-new-poll-reveals-generational-divide

...so calling them out on that should continue.

30 Americans dead, 13 still unaccounted for...

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/biden-mulls-visit-israel-30-americans-confirmed-killed-hezbollah-clashes-escalate

...and FJB can only make things worse by visiting...

Video linked at bottom. Secondary explosions in Gaza. Maybe someone can find the original on YT.

https://thedreizinreport.com/2023/10/15/shocking-footage-of-gaza-bombing-never-seen-anything-like-it-see-below-and-2-sanity-checks-1-news-of-u-s-military-committing-to-division-of-labor-whereby-in-response-to-lebane/

Below, a bunker buster bomb strikes a target in Gaza, setting off a series of “secondary explosions” (of stored rockets or other munitions) within an underground tunnel complex, which appear to us as 50+ meter tall GEYSERS (!!!) of dense black smoke, violently popping out of the ground at various locations, like in some science fiction film. Watch to the end—just when you think it’s done, there’s another geyser, as much as 150 meters (!!!) from the first ones. Off the hook!!!

(Keep in mind, these tunnels and bunkers are typically AT LEAST 30, if not 50 or 60 meters underground. What you’re seeing is the result of ENORMOUS explosive force, seeking an outlet. Also, there are Islamiacs in these tunnels, not just their weapons. We have no idea how many, but, almost certainly, people died “in this video.” Of course, they won’t be added to the Gaza body count that you hear in the news. It will be as if they never existed.)

That's gotta hurt.  Anything in a tunnel is like closing your fist around a firecracker and lighting it, everybody knows that...

Hamas effed around and now Hamas found out...

 ::smallestviolin::

Also, Pali's give them safe harbor, knowing who and what they are...and after every spanking...let them reconstitute in their midst...let them store war materials in their midst...let them use them as fodder...all the while the hypocritical "Muslim World" pledges eternal support for the Pali's and (yet again) doesn't want them in their nations...

Recall when the state of Israel was resurrected...the Muslim World dumped all their human refuse on the Jews...refuse that would reinvent themselves as something called Palestinian when no such ethnic group has ever existed in human history...
