As you know, the first amendment applies only the govt, first the feds then to lower govts.
Even private universities receive fed money so the govt requires them to also honor the 1st A and there are cases on this.
Also places like NYC declare open spaces like parks to be public accommodations where free speech is enforced.
So the private universities say that under fed title 6 they cannot discriminate. Jewish students say that signs denouncing genocide are anti Semitic therefore discriminatory and Jewish students do not feel safe. Snowflakes. So they send in the cops to arrest students with signs saying the wrong thing. Univ profs do not like this mostly but the admins are OK with it especially after big Jewish donors complain.
Finally, what is the deal about tik tok? I never used it. It seems tik tok is carrying videos from gaza and younger people do not like what they see. So Jewish donors lean on congress to move Chinese ownership to US based owners so tik tok can be controlled.
So the feds clamp down on free speech ignoring the 1st A to please Jewish donors AND the Israeli govt including the PM.
