Oh, my...name sounded familiar...song sealed the deal.

And I should have remembered quicker...Rush and his homeless update!!!

I remember way back, when Rush did a regular tour (I saw him at U of Minnesota, of all places) and then did a giant Lalapalooza like bash once a year.  Clarence had previously reached out to Rush to thank him for bringing him back into the spotlight, playing his song.  I think Clarence was retired from the business as he was totally forgotten.  Thanks to new interest Clarence came back out of retirement and started performing again.  Rush snagged him for his giant bash.  I still remember the big reveal.  Rush called him up and asked him if he'd take the job.  Clarence replied in his gravelly voice, "I take the job!"
