"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

TD created the soundtrack for one of my favorite obscure sci-fi films from the 80's - "The Keep", starrring Scott Glenn, Jurgen Prochnow, Ian McKellen and Gabriel Byrne. The music most definitely dates the movie.

There's a variant of this still around. It's called "Trance" and it's an offshoot of techno. They feature a lot of it at raves. My daughter used to listen to it.

Tubular Bells is Mike Oldfield.  Another guy most think of as being a one hit wonder, but in reality has a 40 year new age career going for him.

Mike Oldfield - Tubular bells

He's OK, but I prefer the more experimantal side of things.  The more German the better.  ::laughonfloor::
