The landing is scheduled for 5:56 am EDT. 

I need to get to bed now if I'm going to be able to wake up in time to see it.
We are so far past and beyond the “long train of abuses and usurpations” that the Colonists and Founders experienced and which necessitated the Revolutionary War that they aren’t even visible in the rear-view mirror.

Yeah, I watched NASA TV until signoff, and also followed the commentary at NSF.com.

I think there will be a withdrawal period...some aimless wondering...and then after some time has gone by a rocket launch will seem a big deal.  People have an amazing capacity to adapt to lower expectations in many respects.

But, let's hope the privateers ride to the rescue sooner rather than later!
