Texas RINO War

Kay Bailey Hutchison is not running for the senate in 2012.

Michael Williams

,
former member of the  Texas Railroad Commission, was the TeaParty choice but has recently decided to run for representative of his home district in Arlington.  This gave RINO  Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst more advantage to the primary nomination.

Republican [RINO] Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst is considered the early favorite to succeed retiring U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison. The key word being “early.”
...
Still, he’s already drawing derision from tea party conservatives ...

An influential conservative blogger at the website Redstate.com  recently called the powerful lieutenant governor “DewCrist,” comparing him to former Florida Gov. Charlie Christ;

believes he already has won the first phase of the Texas GOP primary." Earlier this summer, Cruz was endorsed by the FreedomWorks PAC. Former U.S. Rep. Dick Armey is chairman of the group, which was instrumental in the tea party's early organizational efforts.

Additionally, the conservative Club for Growth is supporting Cruz.
...
He built that record as the solicitor general of Texas from 2003-2008.

A Princeton and Harvard Law School graduate, the 40-year-old Cruz is a seriously smart guy also blessed with a easy-going gift of gab.

The fact that he is the son of Cuban immigrant would make him an asset as a Republican nominee at a time when the Texas GOP is being battered for a legislative session that alienated Hispanics.

The campaign is young and not fully formed, but Cruz has earned the momentum he is enjoying this summer. He is a major force in the race.

This looks to be another fight between the establishment Ruling Class and free America.

I'm sick of RINO's.  If Cruz passes muster he should be supported.  I could care less about his ethnicity...that crap always smacks of Ruling Class too-cute-by-half stupidity that gets one stuck with impure conservatives!  So far Ted sounds good, but let the full vetting begin!  It will also be interesting to see how Patrick plays out, since he already has Tea Party cred.  If he endorses Ted that would be a plus.  Dewhurst can go screw himself!
We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.
