An Object Lesson Re Liberals
« on: February 25, 2011, 12:18:50 PM »
First read this story about a mouse infestation at the Politico.

Now...

This is a typical liberal situation.  They have a problem.  Everyone knows it.  Everyone bitches about it, even quite publicly on Twitter, Facebook and other outlets.  No one takes any initiative whatsoever to do anything about it.

Personally, if I was working in that office I would shell out my own money to kill the little bastards off.  And I would enjoy it.  I would have bait trays of Decon all around my office and would probably add peanut butter to them just to speed things up.  It would cost next to nothing to deal with it.  Especially if several others did the same.  And then I would bill them for my expenses.

The fact that Politico management does nothing about it either (and hasn't for a very long time if the article is accurate) is also a study in liberal thought and behavior.  Someone else will surely take care of the problem.  Maybe Obama can get some stimulus dollars in here to fix it.

Or maybe the "thinking" by management is that the mice are just innocent members of the ecosystem and everyone just needs to learn to live with it.  It's organic or something.  Makes you wonder what the cockroach situation is like.

In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.

In the liberal world...mice are people too....

So why do they have mice? Could it be the the cookie eating newsroom is to lazy to clean up thier food mess?

Is it against their union contract to set out a few traps? Are the mice unionized? Is the newsroom considered a "safe haven"??? Are mice considered a step in the evolutionary chain?

In all likelyhood, the slobs in the newsroom created the problem, but as typical obama supporters, they blame others.

They're Hispanic-Mice and the Politico is a sanctuary news propaganda room.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living
are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

Ahh, the Liberal Mind...

...you're a Liberal.  You see a small rodent.  And suddenly, unbidden, it just pops into your head, "Hey, I wonder what it would be like to have that thing wriggling around in my hindquarters?"  After that, things sort of run their course.

Just something to think about the next time you see Barney Frank.

Exit Question:  Where is PETA on this?

And one more thought:  It's a pity wolverines don't come in XXS.

Gere is a Buddhist.  Maybe it's a Buddhist thing or something...become "one" with the gerbil.  Somehow, though, I don't think the gerbil sees it that way.  That's really a tough visual when you think about it:  You're a gerbil and here comes Richard Gere's butt.  Damn, lights out for you, gerbil.

It's probably a story that momma gerbils tell their young:  "You had better be a good little gerbil or Richard Gere will put you in his butt," or "Straighten up buddy or I'm callin' Richard Gere!"

Maybe, if you are a gerbil, that's an option for suicide...just sort of seductively run in front of Richard Gere.  Don't ask me what would qualify as "seductive" in terms of gerbil allure.  Maybe they shake their little hips at him or wink or something.

Maybe we could start an internet rumor that the "in" crowds in the bathhouses have been experimenting with small sharks.
