Most of the run that was good was over before I got here, so, I'm pissed.

I read another take, written by a homosexual, on DADT, whereby he asserted that the policy was a benefit for homosexuals who wanted to quietly leave the military because they didn't fit in the service.  The new policy undoes that.

Yup, and the culture class is guaranteed to start trouble, by design.  There is no admin out for objectors to serving with gays, so...

But the blame for any clash will fall squarely on the straights, there just isn't any doubt in Regime or MFM minds gays are immunized against blame, is there!

Those intent on allowing gays in the military have never been able to substantiate how the change would benifit national defense or improve defense structure . They weren't asked to because they can't . On the other hand there is ample substantiation of the negative impact of gays on unit cohesion , morale and personnel retention . 1000 gays aren't worth one good NCO .

Can someone explain what "openly gay" is? What if the other soldiers act "openly straight"?

I believe that Panetta et al, have made a cynical calculation of the timeline before their experiment in social engineering achieves critical mass and explodes. They will have feathered their respective beds, and plucked, choice berries, crapped the nest, and moved on well in advance of that particular event.

Leaving, as usual, the normal people to clean up their messes.
