War Memorial? Oh, that
« on: February 25, 2011, 11:13:40 PM »
I found this at Ace of Spades:

Unbelievable: Wisconsin Protestin Hippies Desecrate War Memorial In the Capitol To Make A "Statement"

Watch the video.  The guy who is complaining about it repeatedly tells them, "You're hurting your own cause" and they continue to be clueless and oblivious.

Fine products of the Wisconsin educational system, no doubt.
We are so far past and beyond the “long train of abuses and usurpations” that the Colonists and Founders experienced and which necessitated the Revolutionary War that they aren’t even visible in the rear-view mirror.

Additional thoughts, about how the left fails to get the point. Every one of us who is like minded, even with our finer point squabbles, each and every one of us.. when we see a name on a wall.. we get it. We think about a missing father, brother, some mother's son.. someone's brother or sister lost..someone who gave their last... and the suffering of the ones who loved them, who had to take that blow.

That's what a memorial is for. And to see idiots who have no comprehension for that, it doesn't just disappoint, it inflames.

That's what they don't understand.

Screw disappointment. That would imply that I had a different expectation.

It doesn't just inflame. It throws gasoline on the fire, and there's a wind blowing.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Well, hell; had they gone to a cemetary and desecrated gravestones, the effect would've been the same.  They don't get it, and I don't get why they don't.

My guess is that no one has - as yet - beaten some respect into them.

Those damn dirtbags are fortunate that the wrong (or right, depending on perspective) person didn't happen across their little desecration orgy.

Those hippies are example of lax discipline as the cops are example of unions loyalty superseding loyalty to their oath.  My governor gave the order to clear the capitol that trash would have hit the road before the were thrown over the banisters.

I am no longer the least bit interested in trying to get why they don't get it.
As long as they get what's coming to 'em.
