Another $9.5 billion in new regulatory costs, 229 new rules and finalizing 379 rules...just in July!

When the inmates are running the asylum who is to say what is sane and what is not?

I had a conversation with a brother today. I repeated the "We're now spending 100% of GDP" that I've heard and he objected. "OK" I said, "maybe 99%" - "or maybe 110%". "at this point all I know is that we've crossed the bridge into financial ruin. A bridge too far."

"So that's it then." he replied, "What's stopping you from going to the gun and exacting some well deserved retribution?"

"I may be insane, but I'm not stupid" I said. "They'll take out the first few, but when it gets going in earnest I'll be right in there".  ::rockets::
