John F'in' Kerry wants to silence the Tea Party
« on: August 05, 2011, 10:46:27 AM »
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2011/08/05/john_kerry_media_has_responsibility_to_not_give_equal_time_to_tea_party.html

Quote
SEN. JOHN KERRY: "And I have to tell you, I say this to you politely. The media in America has a bigger responsibility than it's exercising today. The media has got to begin to not give equal time or equal balance to an absolutely absurd notion just because somebody asserts it or simply because somebody says something which everybody knows is not factual."
"It doesn't deserve the same credit as a legitimate idea about what you do. And the problem is everything is put into this tit-for-tat equal battle and America is losing any sense of what's real, of who's accountable, of who is not accountable, of who's real, who isn't, who's serious, who isn't?"

This asshole wouldn't know "legitimate" if it bit him in the ass.  ::overkill::

If John Effin' Kerry's criteria was the standard, it would look like a media blackout. 90% of the drivel spewed on the airwaves and in print would cease to exist, and he would be left dangling like the limp appendage that he is.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Uhh huh...

Another dickhead from the party of dickheads that constantly pisses & moans for "tit-for-tat equal" time from news outlets that don't drop to their knees in obeisance to these dickheads has his soiled Depends in a bunch!  And the dickhead doesn't even realize he just argued against his parties "equal time" / "fairness" bullsplatter...but I'll be damn sure to remind him if they fire that mindless mantra up again!

I guess not being able to control 100% of the media would anger only a national socialists douchebag!

What a dickhead!

His ilk also cannot recognize "reality", but I got a lot of reality to beat them over the head with.

Prepare for more beatings, douchebags!

Kerry is still smarting from the beating he took from the Swiftboat Vets getting the truth out about him, and about Dan Rather's failure to discredit Bush with fabricated TANG documents.

That kind of humiliation lasts a lifetime. It is a testimony to the ego, narcissism, insulation, and entitlement mentality of someone like Kerry - that he can be so thoroughly humiliated, and instead of slinking into a hole in shame, boldly proposes that his ideological opposition be censored and silenced.

Wrong as usual Dickhead. The media was charged with seeking the truth and dispersing it through unfiltered.
Now if your talking about Soviet style Pravda, the Demons already have the NY Slimes, fishwrap/birdcage liner of record in their bag of "tricks" and then there's TASS, er the alphabet news media lapdogs that would prefer we get all their dictates from them.

Seriously, a war really would solve many of the country's problems.  ::rockethrow::

By the way, I linked Pandora's and IDP's exchange at Neo-Neocon.
We are so far past and beyond the “long train of abuses and usurpations” that the Colonists and Founders experienced and which necessitated the Revolutionary War that they aren’t even visible in the rear-view mirror.
