In a way, I'm looking forward to it.
Imagine the stress relief?

I heard aluminum bat sales are up in the UK 6000%.  And now it looks like the citizens are countering with anti-riot mobs.  Gatewaypundit has video of anti-rioters running the punks out of their neighborhood.

If there's a silver lining, it is that failure of government to protect its citizens wakes up socialists to the need for personal responsibility and self-determination.

I've seen this movie, except it was a riot inside a penitentiary and when it escalated to this level the guards pulled their weapons and fired.

Police Overrun in Woolwich -London Riots 8/8/11

H/T rayra

Unbelievable.
If I was running the show I would do the same but ahve about 2 dozen cops hiding in the flanks. Once the rioters get by them then I'd bring them out with clubs a swinging.

I was thinking about that. It's what the Greeks did.The police would retreat and the mobs would follow them in and other police showed up behind the mobs and beat the snot out of them.

Well........one can dream about it. Hopefully the police will wise up and implement this. Maybe we would be lucky enough to be able to see it on youtube!!!! Sigh...... one can dream! ::praying::

I thought for a minute while watching that vid that that's what the cops were up to - I really expected a few cop cars to pull up behind the mob.  Nope, the cops just backed away.

Remember the "demonstrations" a few months ago in London? There was a widely circulated photo of a policeman with his face covered in paint. I don't know how they restrain themselves.

Damn right screw that.  Shouldn't be made to try and face that down unarmed.

Arm the cops.

Link

Militant online forums are abuzz with calls to Muslims in Britain to launch Internet campaigns in support of the British rioters and to urge them to topple the government.

Not good, not good at all.  I'm ready to believe the rioters will be greatly encouraged and do as suggested.  It'll be their downfall.

I also believe the police will not be allowed to arm up, notwithstanding.

Then the Britts might as well pack their crap and find ships for the new land.

Well, they might as well but I'll not be welcoming them here.  If they can't keep their own country, they're Eloi and we don't need or want 'em.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-2024284/UK-riots-2011-Liberal-dogma-spawned-generation-brutalised-youths.html

They respond only to instinctive animal impulses — to eat and drink, have sex, seize or destroy the accessible property of others.

Their behaviour on the streets resembled that of the polar bear which attacked a Norwegian tourist camp last week. They were doing what came naturally and, unlike the bear, no one even shot them for it.
