ChiCom's - Sea trials of carrier
« on: August 12, 2011, 07:31:41 AM »
Remember, this is a refurbished old Rooskie boat that was rotting away in the Black Sea.  Sea trials are one thing (and should be the easiest) the real test of this thing will be flight deck op's...I'll wager many a ChiCom sailor is going to be killed/injured and equipment lost/destroyed during this process.  Learning to launch and recover aircraft at sea is not a skill set you get to quickly.  They got a long way to go...

Don't worry.  They'll scrap it as soon as they hear Toonces asking them why they need a carrier.
