The numbers are nasty any which way you spin them. I think commenter Fish Gone Bad has it about right. Their stock (like a lot of financials recently) has been tanking.
But don't fear, the mechanisms are all still in place to continue on merrily conducting business as usual and as always the taxpayer will be there to collect the toxic waste in the end...
