Preparation for handling the same sort of thing here?

Those guys steal the vehicles and either don't care if you know them, some of them want you to know they are gangsters.

ETA: It is also probable the the lead car (Mini Cooper) were not lookout/protection as much as they were bosses assuring job completion.  They prefer to fight out of Suburbans or four door pickups.

I agree JF, but as we all know, that toilet overflows onto our turf occasionally...

I'd like to go Black Jack Pershing/George S. Patton on 'em!

FTA:

Quote
There is also the tactical ramifications. You know they’re going to have additional attacks tomorrow or the next day in Mexico...

We have a full-blown terrorist war occurring on our unsecured Southern border. If one were to try to discern this fact by listening to our federal government or our media, one would be completely unaware of the severity, regularity, and proliferation of the terrorism in Mexico. More people are dying in more horrific ways in Mexico than in Iraq or Afghanistan.

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."
