Purty good ad. Not knowing much beyond what I've learned since he came onto the radar as a potential candidate a couple months ago, I'm looking forward to seeing how he matches up to the hype.

I fear that people will focus on style over his record, and compare him endlessly to another Texas governor ad nauseum.

With all the hype and all his speech-ah-fying around NH parts he needs to score .500 just to keep his head.
The confrontations will be enlightening.  Who  throws the cheap shots and who challenges with substance will
be an equal insight into the other candidates.

Personally, I don't think Michelle could get the job done - even if she could win (which she can't). I believe that Sarah could get the job done - she just can't win. Perry and Romney can win and can get the job done, but probably the job we want done. If I didn't mention your name it is because you are a non-starter.

That's how it is shaping up to me.

I've seen many disappointments these last few years and I'm bracing for yet another one.

Slowly and cautiously, I have come to like quite a few (not all) of Ron Paul's ideas

However, the nuts, loons and whackos give me doubt. Something is making me leery.
I also don't think he can win.
The voter today is so ADD, that they can only get sound bites.
They are also image conscious and need an attractive person.

None of the conventional candidates offer us anything but a different kind of big government.
This includes Sarah.

I really liked her. Still do.

But, I'm starting to wonder if rogue=maverick.
I looked at her endorsements. She has in 40% of the cases endorsed a lesser conservative

While I do believe in being fully engaged in the political process, because you have to at least make an honest effort at it, I also know it is almost certainly a quixotic effort. No election is going to fix the mess this country is in. Increasingly, this hardly even qualifies as a country anymore. Historically, "diverse" societies are kept unified by the artificial pressures of government. When that pressure weakens, for whatever reason, the illusion of unity evaporates quickly and the result is balkanization along any number of fracture lines. It is the inevitable future of this country.

Does anyone really think we're going to ever have limited, republican government as our operational model with the likes of the Northeast and West Coast a part of it? Ain't happening. That horse bolted the barn a long time ago.

I love them all: Any one of them would make a fine president.

  Got that off my chest! Boy Howdy! It is hard to try to catch up so I won't! Anyway been busy last three or four days, and when the Country is in this much trouble, you just step in and vent.

I can handle anyone of the first three Candidates. Perry, Romney, or Bachmann. All would do a Hell of a lot better than what we have. Trouble is whether 4, or 8 years, Democrats, or Liberals will be back in full strength.

We Conservatives, if we are fortunate enough to control not only Federal Government, but a majority of State Legislators as well. Education is golden, and we have to educate the Public on the Liberal Peril, expose them for what they really are, and how much damage they have caused.

If not, we will get them again, and the next time, we may never get rid of them. Liberalism is the biggest form of Cancer in History. It has morphed into Communism with a sprinkle of Marx, and Fascism. Democrats are finished unless they come back to a Kennedy style of Social Policies. Liberals have destroyed the Democratic Party. Well, that's my rant and I am sticking to it.
