LINK

0 to 60 in 4.6 seconds.

$58,000

Seats two.

It's called the Mastretta MXT which sound too much like Masturbator MXT but I suppose it could have been worse.

Personally, I think that Mexico would be better served trying to create a viable national economy free of drugs and corruption.

There is a slide show at the link.

Drive that for a month in Mexico and it will look like a Nissan taxi in no time.

Well it stands to reason. The cartel hot-shots need to drive around in style. I wonder which cartel owns the manufacturer?
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

That rear exhaust looks too much like a butthole to me! How much of the $58,000 is in the form of hydraulic bouncers?

I wonder what "new car smell" is like in a Mexican sports car?

The last time that I remember Mexico manufacturing a vehicle was in the mid 1970's. If my memory serves me correctly it was a green van that was featured in a movie...now let me see...what was that movie called? Hmmm....

But, all kidding aside, if it performs well on the track it will have the opportunity to establish itself. Foreign manufacturers (especially VW and Chrysler) have had a presence in Mexico for a long time, so there's a viable base of labor and supply.

I seem to recall that one was an early effort at sustainable materials and green manufacturing, was it not?

Don't laugh. If Ron Paul ever became president that would be his version of "green jobs."

To be truly green it would have to run on refried beans...
